CookieByte – Code to Learn
Programming is a fun way to create awesome things. Look around you and you will be surprised that everything you love has some coding behind it. Love playing games on your phone, there is code behind that. Love video chatting with your loved ones? There is code there too. So imagine, if you have the superpower of coding, you could also create awesome stuff.
Learn to code, Learn to create. Code to Learn is a platform where you can create simple and engaging apps using simple tools. This tool is a simple and fun way to experience the amazing world of programming. Everyone can do this. We are looking for young, innovative mind like you to create something fun, be it a game, or it can be an app that helps someone, or solves problems. Witness how you can transform ideas into reality in the CookieByte Program. Gain the confidence to explore the world with enhanced problem solving skills.
Think, Create, Empower
You need not necessarily become computer scientists or programmers. The CookieByte Program supports young people’s development as computational thinkers – individuals who can draw on computational concepts, practices, and perspectives in all aspects of their lives, across disciplines and contexts.
CookieByte introduces technology through supporting the development of personal connections to computing, by drawing upon creativity, imagination, and interests. As opposed to technology being introduced to young people in a way that is disconnected from their interests and values that emphasizes technical detail over creative potential.
Be empowered to create rather than participate only as consumers and spectators. Bath in the knowledge, practices, and fundamental literacies that young people need to create the types of dynamic and interactive computational media that they enjoy in their daily lives.
